Szczyrk in summer:
There’s a lot of possibilities of spending time in Szczyrk in the summer season. First of all, tourists can find here long walking routes with beautiful sceneries. Bikers will be welcomed to use bicycle routes both, for beginners as well as professionals. The Skrzyczne Mountain (1257m) will provide you with unforgettable memories while you go paragliding, have fun with motocross rides or quad trips. For those yearning for being close to nature riding a horse will be a good choice.
Within a relatively short distance from Szczyrk there are other interesting towns to see such as Wisła, Ustroń, Istebna, Brenna, Koniaków, Żywiec (and its lake), not mentioning about the borders of the Czech Republic or Slovakia.
Szczyrk in winter:
Szczyrk in winter is a kingdom of skiers as it has one of the best ski bases in Poland. There are one of the longest ski routes in the country with easy meadows suitable for very young learners and also the extreme ones for the profis. One of the most difficult ski routes in Szczyrk is the FIS route with the distance of 2800 meters and a difference of prominence of 600m above sea level.
After a day spent skiing, you can relax in the swimming pool, sauna or spa in the Central Sport Centre in Szczyrk.
